Rock & Beer Spiel 2026:      January 22-25, 2026

We’ve heard from members across various curling clubs that they want to join the Rock and Beer Spiel but find it full most years. To make room for more curlers, we are expanding the event this year from 32 to 40 teams. Even with this change, every team will still be guaranteed three games, just like in past years.

With the larger field and four sheets of ice the bonspiel will now start on Thursday evening and continue through Sunday.  This will mean we will have two draws Thursday night (6 pm and 8 pm) then Friday draws will start at 9 am.  If you aren’t able to curl Thursday night your Friday draw time will be one of the three times – 9 am, 11 am or 1 pm.  If you are an out of town team able to curl Thursday night please let us know asap.

We will still have live music, and the beer, seltzers, soda, etc. will remain free all weekend with cocktails discounted to $3 each.  We will also keep you fed all weekend with meals provided throughout the event. The extended schedule gives everyone more time to relax at the club, check out local spots, and enjoy the Brainerd Lakes area.

Registration for RETURNING teams will run from 11/24 – 11/30.  Last year’s team contacts should receive the password to register.  Double check your junk/spam folder!

Registration for NEW TEAMS will open at 8:00 AM on Monday, December 1.  The remaining open team spots will be first come, first serve, so plan ahead!
