Friendly Spiel with North Star Curling

Saturday, November 22nd

A fun one-day bonspiel on Saturday, Nov. 22nd that features 16 curlers from St. Cloud’s North Star Curling Club and 16 from Brainerd. The goal of this event is simple: To welcome members of the North Star club to curling in Brainerd.

Here’s how it works: Everyone registers as an individual and then are randomly placed on teams, with two curlers from North Star and two from Brainerd on each team. Games are 6-ends each, with a double-elimination format. Ties are settled with a full end, and the 5-rock guard zone is in play.

Your registration fee covers curling, lunch and one drink ticket. Cash bar after that.

• 9:30 am – Be at the club to form teams
• 10 am – Draw 1
• Noon – Lunch
• 1 pm – Draw 2
• 3:30 pm – Draw 3

Cost is $25 per person, which is payable at the door.
